Conference Purpose 

The 19th GMSARN International Conference, will be held during November 21-22, 2024, is a collaborative effort between the GMSARN, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), The Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), and The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), taking place in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. This conference is dedicated to addressing the pivotal themes of energy, environment, and sustainable development within the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) to envision and forge its future trajectory. The GMSARN 2024, themed “Towards Sustainability in GMS: Empowering Energy, Environment, and Development” offers a two-day platform where a broad spectrum of researchers and participants can share their insights and research findings, promoting a collaborative approach to sustainability challenges in the GMS.

              The GMSARN 2024 conference aims to kick-start global conversations and offer a stage for exchanging the latest thoughts and breakthroughs in energy, environment, and sustainable development. It positions itself as a global forum that emphasizes regional and cross-border dynamics, contributing significantly to sustainable development initiatives focused on energy, environmental protection, and climate resilience. This conference stands out by bringing together a wide array of disciplines, fostering the creation of unified solutions and innovative approaches to current challenges.
